Lewis Davey are seeking an enthusiastic, self- motivated Sustainability Consultant / BREEAM Assessor for an opportunity within an award-winning consultancy firm that works with some of the leading UK    housebuilders and developers, delivering high quality energy and sustainability advice and assessments to the construction and property industries. The role is a home-based role with the option to work from an office in Tiverton, Devon if you prefer.

The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and clients. Good attention to detail is essential as the role requires a high degree of precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision of BREEAM consultancy and assessments, predominantly for mixed-use and non-residential developments, including site visits
• Active engagement with the client and project team to ensure that sustainability requirements are taken into consideration and achieved throughout the duration of the development
• Delivery of high-quality consultancy and written reports at all development stages
• Utilisation of resources from within the team to ensure that the client receives timely, professional advice and assessments
• Acting as Project Lead, responsible for the financial and project management of a range of sustainability services

Experience:

• Licensed BREEAM assessor
• Team player and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience of Local Authority policies, their application and the planning process
• Good construction knowledge
• Qualified BREEAM Advisory Professional (AP) (Desirable)
• Demonstration of delivery against specific criteria g. climate change adaptation, LCA etc. (Desirable)
• Experience of using IES Tap (Desirable)
• Awareness of construction procurement routes and application to RIBA Stages (Desirable)
