29 Jan Client-side ESG Lead – Commercial Real Estate
Lewis Davey is delighted to be supporting an investment management firm as they look to appoint an ESG lead to join the business. Working predominantly in the UK, the successful incumbent will have a great opportunity to have a significant impact across ESG within their commercial real estate investment arm which has c. £1 billion AUM in the UK.
This is a flexible role in nature and we encourage those looking for part-time work.
Reporting into the COO, the successful incumbent will be responsible for developing specific ESG policies and considering how resilience & climate change adaptation can be incorporated into the overall investment strategy and management of property assets.
You play an active role in assessing how sustainability is achieved and measured across property refurbishment and development project and help create a corporate policy for sustainability and measuring the organisations carbon footprint.
You will also support external communication to investors and stakeholders on ESG performance, oversee the collection and review of environmental data from property managers, asset managers and tenants and engage on the monitoring, reporting and analysis of data.
The successful candidate will help build understanding of emerging ESG issues and further development of relevant policies at both fund and corporate level, ensure that ESG policies remain best-in-class and assist with GRESB submissions.
