We’re looking for an Associate Planner for this exceptional opportunity to join a supportive and well-established consultancy in Hampshire. There is a genuinely positive working atmosphere, in a friendly and sociable office in Hampshire. The office is based close to local shops and amenities, and is only five minutes’ walk from the town centre. The office has excellent transport links and plenty of parking available, meaning there’s not commute stress.

In this role, you will be delivering a comprehensive planning service on developments in the South and the South East of England. These will vary in terms of scale and there is an open opportunity to develop business across a range of sectors. You will also be responsible for the preparation, and submission and negotiation of planning applications.  Alongside this, you will also have the opportunity to meet and liaise with clients and stakeholders, where you will be building and maintaining positive working relationships for both yourself and the company.

This role is best suited for an individual who is able to work well as part of a thriving and busy team, and has excellent communication skills.  You must be able to build and develop a network of clients and be a member of the RTPI. Ideally, you will have had experience working in the private sector and be confident when meeting clients and stakeholders.

Candidates whould be MRTPI (or very close to achieving chartered status) and will have either worked in Planning Consultancy or within a Local Authority dealing with medium to large scale applications or planning policy advice.
