A truly great opportunity for a Business Development Executive / Sales Executive with experience of generating opportunities within the I&C market to join a major new player within energy storage with a unique off-the-balance sheet, fully financed proposition focused on Behind-the-meter (BTM) battery energy storage solutions (BESS).
With a view to building a portfolio of c. 50MW of BTM BESS by EOY19, that our client will build and operate, your role will be focused on helping to garner new leads. You’ll be adept at building relationships within the I&C market and will be happy to carry out the leg work.
Whilst it’s not essential, some understanding of energy storage technology and revenue models would be extremely beneficial – you’ll need to understand why this proposition is unique and be able to understand the technical requirements of multiple clients and prospects. This role may suit someone who has operated in an energy consultancy capacity selling energy services solutions to the I&C market and who’s looking for something less saturated and more innovative. An Engineering degree would be desirable.
