In addition to other requirements across ESG Strategy and decarbonisation, we’re looking for Managers and Senior Managers to join the consulting firm focused on climate risk. This role would suit individuals with some exposure to operating in a consultancy environment. You’ll be entrepreneurial minded and willing to contribute to business development and engage with existing and new clients around the climate risk and/or decarbonisation agenda.
This is a great opportunity to build on our client’s access to the C-Suite and have an impact on global businesses as they look to understand (1) how they are impacted by climate change and (2) how their operations are contributing to climate change. You’ll work on large and often complex projects, that regularly have a global reach. You might be working with global retailer working across multiple geographies and value chains or a Cosmetics giant at they look to assess their financial risk from climate change.
For Climate Risk, you’ll be working across all facets from physical to transactional, legal and litigation. You will have a good appreciation of climate risk, as well as Climate Change opportunities, in the content of TCFD across sectors and you should be able to frame-up what this might mean for clients in terms of business implications. Applicants should demonstrate a solid knowledge of climate change from regulations to customer trends and you will already be familiar with the concept of climate scenarios and climate modelling.
What’s more, applicants should have a good foundation in Energy Technologies and the pro’s & con’s of each. You will ideally have expertise across Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions and have background across Science Based Targets (SBTi).
Lewis Davey is willing to accept candidates from outside the Netherlands for this role.
