20 Apr Data Analyst – ESG / SRI
Our client, an in-house advisory group of a major European fund manager, is looking for a data analyst, with a solid understanding of investment and/or portfolio management. Working alongside analysts and portfolio managers, you will be joining a small but growing sustainability research team with a focus on ESG issues to assist in delivering our client’s strategic objectives.
Largely, you will be responsible for the following: helping deliver the data analytics team’s requirements; the determination of the organization, performance and write-up of data analyses; mining large datasets by cleansing, transforming and modelling the data; using statistical methods and programming language to analyze, interpret, visualize data and the results as well as diagnose any issues in the data; the data requirements, definitions, analytics and data insights of investment processes; explore the use of ESG data via AI powered solutions; contribute to the strategic development and planning of data analytics driven products.
Ideally, you will have: a degree with a significant research methods component or qualifications in econometrics, mathematics, physics, and/or equal experience in research or data analysis; 3-5 to years experience with analyzing and reporting data to deliver data insights; professional experience of programming languages such as VBA, SQl and Python. You will be a solution orientated, self starter with excellent communication and critical thinking skills. The ability to speak and write in French would be an advantage.
