Lancashire, United Kingdom

One of the fastest growing planning firms in the North West is looking to bring in a Planning Manager to lead and grow their expanding successful team in Lancashire. The company has undergone growth in the last few years and this means that they now have a great team of Town Planners working on a mixture of residential, commercial, mixed use and leisure projects inside and often outside of the North-West.

Candidates should be chartered - MRTPI / MRICS - with significant planning experience gained in the public or private sector. You will continue to manage your own projects but will do this with the support of a vibrant and ambitious planning team.

You are expected to have a commercial attitude. You will be client facing and will work on some of the firm’s most prestigious projects. You will put forward planning applications, write planning statements and undertake local plan reviews. You will get out and about and forge strong relationships with clients, planning officers and associated planning professionals.

Some flexible working and a market leading salary is on offer for the right candidate. In fact many of the working conditions are negotiable for the right person.

This is a company which is really going places as demonstrated by their growth over the past five years. This is a great place to see your career develop from being a strong technical Planner to being one of the most influential Town Planners in the Lancashire region.

The role is located in the North West and ideal commuting areas would be Manchester, Preston, Merseyside, Lancaster, Blackpool, Wigan, etc. This is a Planning Manager/Leader role but candidates who are stepping up to this level can also be considered.
