10 Nov Planning Officer (Development Management) – Contract
A Local Authority in the West Midlands are looking for a contractor to work on contract up until March 2017.
The ideal contractor will have 1-5 years experience as a Planning Officer either within a Local Authority or Private consultancy.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Minor Applications (covers Green Belt and AONB areas, Conservation and Listed Buildings)
- Process a range of minor applications predominantly rural and market towns
Section 106 agreements, General Planning Administration
The work is primarily small scale housing schemes in and on the edge of villages, farm related proposals and a limited range of small scale commercial.
The position is office based although potential to work around a 4 day 37 hour week/ or 1 day per week remote working.
You must be available immediately and have your own car as requires use of a car to access sites.
