Excellent opportunity for a Senior Sustainability Consultant to take the lead on Sustainability consultancy work for what is currently an energy management and environmental bias consultancy. You will also have the opportunity to work internally, as well as outwardly, developing the company’s sustainability policies.
Our client already works with some significant clients, providing a plethora of energy consultancy and environmental management support to these household names. They recognise an opportunity to provide additional services to their existing client portfolio as well as new clients specifically around sustainability strategy, sustainability reporting and broader sustainability advisory work and have thus created a new role for an aspiring sustainability consultant to lead on this.
It’s key that you are ambitious and an aspiring sustainability consultant who will feel comfortable taking a lead on the sustainability consultancy offering. You’ll need to feel up to the task of speaking at leading industry events and representing the business from a sustainability perspective, driving new business. Ideally you will be comfortable engaging with senior sustainability stakeholders, typically within large corporate businesses, understanding their drivers from a sustainability and wider CSR perspective and how our clients energy management, environmental management and sustainability offerings could benefit them.
You’ll play an integral part in developing the sustainability advisory division and the services to take to the market and will also oversee some of the existing work streams and consultants providing environmental consultancy (including ISO 50001 and 14001) and staff engagement work.
We’re looking for degree qualified, Sustainability Consultants who want to realise the opportunity to develop a new service from scratch. You will have experience of;
- Developing sustainability strategies with clients
- Sustainability reporting (GRI, CDP, FTSE4Good)
- Client account management
- Science-based targets
