Our client is seeking a Technical Director of Ecology to support their development strategy and growing business within a strong and well-respected team of Ecologists that offers specialist consultancy across a diverse range of prolific projects within the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: ecological project management including leading and mentoring the ecology team across our client’s projects; business development; preparing ecological impact studies, feasibility studies and scheme reports; monitoring project progress and resolving any technical issues; integrating our client’s regional delivery as well as supporting their UK delivery.

It is essential that the right candidate: has an in-depth knowledge of ecology science and proven professional experience of ecological projects with an honours degree in ecology or related subject; is a full member of CIEEM; has excellent relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills; has a strong knowledge of environmental legislation and experience of HRA; has proven management/team building skills. A postgraduate degree, protected species licence(s) and/or chartered membership would be advantageous to an application.
