July Cleantech & Sustainability jobs Update

Welcome to a mid-summer, masked in sunshine, update on our latest sustainability jobs & low carbon market conditions. After month on month growth in demand for talent across sustainability & cleantech, we have witnessed a levelling out in the market that could be a result of the abundance of holidays typically taken at this time of year and/or an indication we are nearer to a peak market.  All in all, we don’t expect to see such exponential growth in demand for talent over the next six months as we have done for the last year or so but do expect the same demand to remain.

Competition for talent particularly in the high demand areas such as around BREEAM is increasingly fierce with much of the “available” talent now in new roles.   We are advising all clients to make sure they differentiate themselves in a busy market and think about how they can attract limited talent out of jobs where they are well looked after and generally happy.
