We are working with a company with a dedicated Land & New Homes department in North Hertfordshire.
This role is to predominantly focus on residential planning work. The candidate must be MRTPI certified with knowledge of the local market and of the relevant planning policies, primarily with worthy local contacts.
The role will comprise of leading site appraisals and instructing of the dominant route to take for the promotion of sites through to planning of the development plan process; calculating and negotiating contributions; S106 work; calculating and advising on council’s 5 year land supply position; and preparing and submitting planning applications for clients. The work is majority residentially led mixed-use schemes, thus strong housing familiarity is required.
Candidates from both the public and private sector will be considered, they must be a strong negotiator in client-facing situations, be a good networker with the capability to maintain and shape client relationships, as well as your own profile, in the market.
