Principal to Senior Associate Town Planner, Swindon

Our client, a multidisciplinary practice, are looking to recruit an outstanding Principal Planner to Associate Director (depending on level of experience) to join their Swindon-based team of Town Planners, Chartered Surveyors, Architects, Urban Designers and Environmental Specialists.

The successful candidate will provide advice on a range of planning topics to a variety of clients, therefore strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have an in depth working knowledge of all national and local planning legislation, policies and procedures. The practice are particularly looking for candidates with specific experience in Development Control/Management. You must be self-motivated and keen to take on extra responsibility whilst taking an active part in key projects. Some experience and knowledge of the Thames Valley market would also be beneficial.

To apply, you must hold a degree and/or masters that is recognised by the RTPI. As a full RTPI or RICS member, you will have previous experience within either consultancy or local authority environments, covering all aspects of the planning process along with experience in mentoring, supporting and developing junior members of the planning team.
