Lewis Davey was established in 2013 to provide recruitment services to the Town Planning, Sustainability, Cleantech and Smart Cities industries and now have offices in Exeter and Bournemouth. We work with companies looking to fill specialist vacancies from Graduate to Director level. However we are not just a recruitment firm, we offer complimentary services alongside Talent Identification, in the areas of Market Intelligence and Business Development.
We are currently looking to appoint a Researcher / Administrator to join our Bournemouth office.

As a Researcher within our Town Planning team, you will work closely with one of our Directors and Co-founder in addition to numerous Consultants and will be responsible for carrying out research as well as other appropriate tasks specifically around adding value to our recruitment and other service lines as they develop.

Your tasks will include but not be limited to:

Social Media: You take a leading role in ensuring that Lewis Davey are positively exposed through all our social media channels. Training will be provided but some knowledge of Social Media would be useful and you should be able to compile various sources of news and market insight and share as appropriate.

Advertising: You will make sure that all our active roles are advertised in appropriate mediums.

Research & Develop Potential Contacts: You will work on a project by project basis to develop a list of contacts and potential clients across our core industries, ensuring all information is managed appropriately and passed to the consultant(s)/Director efficiently.

Candidate Research: You will be responsible for researching and sourcing information on prospective candidates from a range of external and internal databases, deep web searching, social media and other means and ensuring that all information is managed appropriately.

Administration: From time to time we may call upon you to carry out some administrative tasks. There is the opportunity to move into a Senior Researcher and/or Head of Research moving forward as the business grows and develops.

You should be comfortable with carrying out lengthy and in-depth database searches, should be organised and be able to manage your own time well. You will be set SMART objectives for each project and your performance will be measured against these.

This is a permanent role in a friendly and hard-working team..

Required experience:

Good Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, etc): 1 year
