We’re delighted to be looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant who would relish the opportunity to deliver consultancy across both corporate sustainability strategy & reporting and also sustainability in the built environment. 

Senior Sustainability Consultant

London, £45 – 55K + benefits

Rare & unique opportunity to work across both corporate sustainability reporting and strategy and sustainability in the built environment with an international consultancy.  You will be joining a close-knit team and in addition to working across Corporate Sustainability Reporting & Strategy and Sustainable Design, you will also play a leading role in client engagement and business development. 

 

We’re therefore looking for entrepreneurial minded individuals who are comfortable working in a client facing capacity, winning and delivering on a range of sustainability bias projects.

 

The corporate sustainability reporting and strategy piece will include the provision of GHG Inventory services, sustainability reporting around frameworks such as CDP and GRI, FTSE4Good and DJSI and working with clients to develop sustainability strategies from initial concept through to implementation.

 

The job also has a remit around sustainable design and you will provide support to BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes and LEED assessors in line with new developments.  You will also provide input around sustainability planning applications including sustainability statements and energy strategies. 

 

You should be comfortable taking a lead role in regard to business development.  This is a Senior Consultancy role so you should have some track record of bringing in consultancy fees.  As an influential member of the team, you will also have the opportunity to develop marketing material, and identify and input into appropriate tendering opportunities.

 

Interested applicants should have a thorough understanding of current and upcoming legislation and industry best practice, hold an appropriate degree, ideally be BREEAM/LEED/CfSH accredited and be capable of communicating to clients in an articulate manner around energy, sustainability and carbon services.
