19 Nov Senior/Principle Archaeologists – Scotland
We’re working with a large multi-disciplinary consultancy who are looking to expand and develop their Heritage team due to major projects in the pipeline. We’re looking to speak to Senior and Principle Archaeologists based in Scotland, who would be interested in working in Edinburgh or Glasgow to support a series of long term projects and assist and manage the team already in place. There will also be a focus on smaller, local projects as well as the opportunity to take part in nationwide schemes on various matters. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, growing team and collaborate with a wider sustainable unit within the business.
The successful candidate must be confident and experienced in preparing desk based assessments and also be able to prepare cultural heritage inputs to all stages of EIA as these will be key requirements of the role. You must have the capability to manage projects and staff and be able to mentor those within the team. It will also be the responsibility of the individual to liaise with clients to develop and maintain working relationships. You must have a relevant and degree be a member of the Institute for Archaeologists to apply. Please be aware that the nature of this role may require travel to work with other office based in the UK.
