12 Apr Testing & Assurance Manager – Smart Metering
Lewis Davey is delighted to be offering the opportunity for ambitious candidates to play an integral role in the roll out of Smart Metering. With around 53 million smart meters needing to be fitted by 2020, this is a mammoth industry initiative and one you could be at the centre of.
Whilst we currently recruiting for a variety of roles around Smart Energy, for this role we are specifically keen to hear from candidates who have prior management experience and have led teams to deliver significant projects.
As the Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of assurance services and testing for Smart Metering. Initially you will work in the consultancy team, helping to formulate the industry codes/rules but after a period of time it is envisaged you will move into the Delivery team where you will take responsibility for building and managing the team. Your responsibilities will include managing technical partners for testing of specifications, resolving any technical issues that arise in the delivery of the service, financial/budgetary management of the service and ensuring all work is delivered on time to SLA’s.
We are looking for candidates with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a good knowledge of the Energy retail industry and ideally Smart Metering. You will ideally have had some experience of testing, assurance or certification in a technical environment and benefit from previous management experience.
Knowledge of aspects of the smart metering market such as interoperability and industry codes would also be useful.
