Lewis Davey is looking to appoint a Trainee / Graduate Recruitment Consultant to work within our Sustainability & Cleantech team and to be based out of our Exeter office.

About Us
Lewis Davey was established in 2013 to provide services to the Town Planning, Sustainability, Cleantech and Smart Cities industries and now have offices in Exeter and Bournemouth. We work with companies looking to fill specialist vacancies from Graduate to Director level. However we are not just a recruitment firm, we offer complimentary services alongside Talent Identification, in the areas of Market Intelligence and Business Development.

Our two founding Directors have around a decade of recruitment experience each covering the Town Planning, Sustainability and Cleantech industries. There is a genuine opportunity to utilise their knowledge to get you off to a good start. Your role will initially be focussed upon Talent Identification for the cleantech & sustainability sector covering a wide range of roles across renewables, energy efficiency, and corporate sustainability.

The role will require you be pro-active and make a number of outbound calls. Therefore it is important that you are a confident and charismatic communicator both verbally but also in your written communication.

 

Responsibilities
You will primarily be responsible for sourcing and managing a range of Cleantech & Sustainability candidates and listening to and understanding their motivations and career aspirations. You will also work with the Director to develop meaningful, long lasting relationships with clients in the Cleantech & Sustainability industry and will be responsible for introducing relevant candidates to those clients. You will record all of your conversations and this will allow you to quickly identify suitable candidates in the future. You will be expected to learn your market and become a specialist in particular area. In order to do that you will be given full guidance and recruitment & industry training by the Director.

Remuneration
The remuneration will depend upon the candidate. Candidates will be expected to meet achievable targets which will allow you to have realistic YR1 earnings of circa £29k per annum (uncapped/no entry). You will ultimately be targeted on successful placements and revenue generation.
